Malaysia Airlines Bangkok Travel Advisory

Due to the prolonged street demonstration in Bangkok, Malaysia Airlines has announced the following waiver for deferent of travel.

For tickets from Malaysia to Bangkok with date of travel between 08 January and 05 February 2014.

  • Destination change is permitted within Thailand or to any other ASEAN destination. Fare difference to be paid (if applicable). E-ticket reissuance fee is waived.
  • Date change permitted up to 2 week later from original travel date with penalty fee waiver. Subject to seat availability.
  • Refund

    Refundable tickets - full refund permitted with penalty waived. Tickets for refund must be submitted within 1 week from date of cancellation.

    Non-Refundable tickets - not permitted with Malaysia Airlines allows the tickets to be converted to a miscellaneous charges order (MCO) for further transportation use within 1 month of issuance.

My personal recommendation will be to book the pool access room at JW Marriott Khao Lak as it offers the convenience of opening the balcony door and jumping right into the pool.

JW Marriott Khao Lak also holds the record for the longest swimming pool in South East Asia.

Another recommendation is JW Marriott Khao Lak Quan Spa. Many choice of treatments are available with value for money monthly specials. Suggest that you book your treatment early as the spa is very popular and full most of the time.
