An iPhone or iPad is a great device for staying connected, but these devices also rely heavily on the battery to keep it running. Here are some simple tips to get the most out of it’s battery life.
Keep it away from Direct Sunglight
Using your device in direct sunlight for an extended period of time will damage your battery and making it harder to hold a charge.
Reduce the Brightness
Turning down the screen bightness will reduce the amount of battery that is used to keep it lit. The brightness control can be found under Settings.
Use Wifi instead of 3G
According to Apple, using Wifi instead of 3G will add about an hour to your device battery life. This also helps you save your data limits with your mobile provider.
Keeping Push Notification to the Minimum
Everytime you receive a push notification, the phone is force to wake up and that uses up the battery life. Your friend’s Facebook status notification or check-in is not that important, so save the push for only the most important information.
