The iPhone is finally coming to Celcom. Pre-registrations can be made on the Celcom website. Currently still no details on the package. As far as I know, Celcom has only GPRS and 3G. Maxis and Digi has GPRS, Edge and 3G. By the way, does GPRS still exist? Can the iPhone work on GPRS? I wonder. I am currently using my iPhone on Maxis and running it on Edge even when there is 3G available. It helps in reducing the battery usage as I have office and personal emails pushed to my phone.
While I look forward to more competitive packages from the telcos but what I really want is to be able to buy iPhone without a contract like in Singapore.
