Body Fat

I was at Mid Valley when I stepped into a store selling exercise equipment and they had a body fat analyzer. The sales staff was friendly and encourage me to step on the machine for a reading. The reading was weight 70.7kgs and 19.3% fat. It is classified as good but I want to make it better. Time to hit the gym and work harder.

Below is a general guide for male body fat.

Age 19-24
Excellent: < 11
Very Good: 11.1 - 15
Good: 15.1 - 19
Fair: 19.1 - 23
Poor: > 23

Age 25-29
Excellent: < 13
Very Good: 13.1 - 17
Good: 17.1 - 20
Fair: 20.1 - 24
Poor: > 24

Age 30-34
Excellent: < 15
Very Good: 15.1 - 18
Good: 18.1 - 22
Fair: 22.1 - 25
Poor: > 25

Age 35-39
Excellent: < 16
Very Good: 16.1 - 19
Good: 19.1 - 23
Fair: 23.1 - 26
Poor: > 26

Age 40-44
Excellent: < 18
Very Good: 18.1 - 21
Good: 21.1 - 24
Fair: 24.1 - 27
Poor: > 27

    ish… my percentage was the highest :(
    but i insist it was the weight and interference of my camera that i was wearing on my hip!

    For the male fat is 10%.

    Mine is 16% so i need to extra more hard.

    I used to stay around 12.9%, but now… it’s a history to me, I think I am in more than 20% fat now, even though I go Bodyjam 3 times a week! I think I need to slave myself into BodyAttack soon, I would lose 5 pounds in just 3 classes.

    You should have taken away the camera before going on the scale but then again, it would only add to the weight and not body fat! haha…

    Body Attack can lose 5 pounds in 3 classes? I need to go then! :)

    Yes Eugene, I tried and It did work for me, but I need to get a pair of good shoes first, because Body Attack requires a lot of jumping up and down. Body Step is equally effective though…. and it shaped my butt perfectly.
