Genuine warehouse sales are known to be crazy. This morning I went to the DKSH warehouse sale. I reached at 8.30 a.m., thinking it was still early but I was wrong. There were already a lot of people busy buying stuff and carrying bags of goodies. Overall, the stuff were really cheap. 5 packs of Duracell batteries for RM10, 3 bags of Ruffles potato chips for RM10, 2 packs of 3-in-1 Ovaltine for RM5, 6 bottles of A&W Root Beer for RM10…etc
What surprise me the most was the Durex counter. People were rushing, pushing and grabbing boxes of condoms. Usually in pharmacies, people will hide the box of condoms together with other items. As I was grabbing two boxes (one for myself and another for a friend), I couldn’t help hearing the conversation of the couple beside me.
The wife was go through the different types of condoms.
Wife: This one good or not?
Husband: Choose the comfort one
Wife: Why not try the rib one?
Husband: Ok-lah, get one box ribbed, one box comfort
Wife: Two boxes enough ah? Expiry is March 2012. Get three la.
Husband: Ok…

These are bags of items that I bought, including potato chips, M&Ms, batteries, tooth paste and many more.

One box of 12 pcs at RM10. Don’t know when will I use. Maybe expire also have not used yet.

DKSH is located in between Jaya One and the old Philips office along Jalan University.
