Fly to Jakarta from RM200!
KLM Royal Dutch Airlines is offering RM200 return air fare to Jakarta (RM353 including taxes). Booking period 04-30 September for outbound travel 04 September - 30 October. It’s really cheap considering that KLM is a full service airline.
There’s a new attraction in Jakarta, WaterBom (www.waterbom.com) which is similar to the one in Bali. Looks like it’s a lot of fun if you are into water theme parks. Another theme park found in Jakarta is Ancol (http://www.ancol.co.id) which includes Seaworld, Dunia Fantasi and Atlantis Water Adventure. There is also a Gondola, a skylift cable car system with thirty-seven cars built along the shore of Jakarta’s bay. It offers a spectacular view of the resort and the sea as well as the city.
Shopping is a must for Malaysians and Jakarta has quite a few factory outlets. The last time I was there, I bought Nike and Speedo t-shirts at RM8 each! An alternative is to visit Bandung which is approx 2.5 hours from Jakarta. It’s located in the highlands so the weather is cool all year round. What makes Bandung interesting for visitors is the factory outlets found in the city.
Anyone interested to visit Jakarta? If there is enough interest, I may consider organizing a group tour.
Ooh… I would like to, but I’m still in Beijing after the promotion is over. Hai…
i’m interested in the factory outlet locations. how to find in such big city?
