My office 50th anniversary dinner was my biggest project to-date. I have done dinner events before but never this big. My idea was to create a “wow” effect so I told my event management the idea I had and we started working on it. As I wanted to keep the element of surprise in everyone, no one (even staff) was allowed in the ballroom until the official opening of the doors.

When the doors opened, you could actually hear everyone going “wow” as they entered. Even the hotel staff were amazed how we transformed the entire ballroom. My top management were flabbergasted as they did not expect something like this to be done on a small budget.
