Holiday Part 2 - Lumut / Pangkor / Penang

Holidays Add comments

Woke up to a peaceful morning in Lumut. We had our continental breakfast and headed to the jetty to take the ferry to Pangkor. The journey takes approx 20 mins and cost RM10 round trip.

As it was school holidays, the ferry was packed with visitors. There are two stops on the ferry route. One is at the fishing village in Pangkor and the other at Pangkor town itself. The town is quiet with most shops selling products from the sea.

We only wanted to visit one place, the old dutch fort. To make it interesting, we walked from the jetty to the fort which is approx 3kms. Along the way, we found some interesting spots for pictures.

We had a light lunch at Pangkor before heading back to the hotel in Lumut for a quick shower and moved on to our next destination - Penang!
