Aliens have landed!

The aliens have landed! The aliens have landed!
It looks like a space ship doesn’t it?

This product is a Norwegian innovation that has hit Europe by storm and now it can be found in Malaysia. What is it? It’s called a robomop. It sweeps the floor for you! Hahaha…. it’s for lazy people like me.

All you need to do is charge the robotic ball for 3-5 hours, switch it on and it was start sweeping the floor for you. It’s that simple! It’s quite fun to see the robomap cleaning the floor as it will go under furniture, clean places that we usually don’t clean and also detects if something is in the way and it will change direction.

For my condo, it took about one hour to clean the whole place. Once it has finished, it will return to the spot where it first started. I was amazed at the amount of dust, hair…etc it picked up the eletrostatic pad. The pad can be used more than once depending how dirty the floor is.

The eletrostatic pad is disposable and it cost less then RM1 per piece. All that needs to be done is charge the robotic ball and replace the pad when it’s full of dirt.

Conclusion, I’m impressed, my floor is really clean! I don’t have to drag the vaccum cleaner anymore. He..he… Now, if only I can find something that also mops the floor.

Car Maintainence

Personal 2 Comments »

I am hopeless when it comes to car maintainence. My car front tires were going bald so I had to get them changed.

I always have the thinking that these people are out to make a quick buck from hopeless people like me! They will always ask you to change this and that when you don’t even know if it’s suppose to be changed or not. We are at their mercy and hope what they are tell us is the truth.
Anyway, I got my tires changed and the damage? RM442.50

Muscle Pain!

Gym 8 Comments »

My muscles are in pain after working out the past few days. It will take a while before my body gets used to all the hard work again. I was happy that I could still bench press up to 45 kgs. Just 6 months ago, I could easily lift up to 60kgs. I need to get my muscles back!

Those were the days when I could attend back-to-back classes or running from one gym to the other just to attend classes. Now I am wondering where did all my energy go?

Back to Gym again!

I am back to gym again after a break of 5 months. I hope that it will not happen again. It was nice to see familiar faces and changes that the gym has made. I was happy that all the machines are new. No more squeeky steppers at least for a while!

However, the weight machines are still the old ones. I hope they will put new ones soon!

Car got scratch!

Uncategorized 3 Comments »

My car got scratch (again) last night. This happened at the Bandar Utama/Sony overhead bridge/traffic light. The bridge has two lanes. The left lane for going straight or to turn left while the right lane is for going straight or turning right.

I was on the right lane (luckily going pretty slow) going straight heading to Centre Point Bandar Utama. On the left lane was this Kia Spectra going very fast and he suddenly made a right turn in front of me wanting to go to Damansara Jaya/Utama. He did this without giving any indication and he scratched my left front bumper! I honked at him and tried to chase him but he zipped off really quickly.

Sigh… now I have even more scratches on my front bumper and all of it at the left front corner.

Sinful Lunch

Food 4 Comments »

Had an extremely sinful roast pork lunch with my colleagues in Pudu. The roast pork was done quite nicely. Not much fat, the skin was thin yet crunchy but it was oily (I think they added pork fattening to the meat).

Half way through the meal, we added another plate of roast pork. I think that was a bad decision as we started were feeling uneasy due to the excessive oil and sleepy after eating so much.

The damage? RM85 for five persons.

Today is the first working day of the year. School has reopened and traffic jams have started! The office is rather empty today as most parents are at school with their kids.

Reflection on 2006

Personal 4 Comments »

2006 has been a very different year for me. I had many challenges and was able to raise to the challenge. Here are some of the my first and achievements for the year.

Personal
1. PetVentura was created and launched
2. My first Windows Mobile PDA - Dopod 838 Pro

Work
1. First time flying Business Class on Air France from Singapore to Paris
2. First time in Paris
3. Attended the first ever AF-KL International Sales Forum
4. Represented South China Sea in Innovation Forward
5. The Malaysian website is now the top 5 in the world!

2007 will be a new beginning for me. A new start in my love life and possibly a new start for my career. I have been given a job offer and I have yet to accept it. It’s tough coming out from my comfort zone and going into the unknown.

I am a Taurus. I am stubborn, enjoys stability and do not like change!
