Flash the Osaka Amazing Pass at the entrance of the participating attractions and enjoy free entry to 40 attractions in Osaka. You will not be able to visit all 40 attractions, therefore some planning will be required. Here are some of my favourites:

Osaka Castle – The castle is one of Japan’s most famous landmarks and it played a major role in the unification of Japan during the sixteenth century of the Azuchi-Momoyama period.

Osaka-jo Gozabune Boat – Cruise the inner moat of Osaka Castle. See the best view of the castle from the boat, the stone with the human face that guards the castle and the names inscribed on the stones used to build the castle wall.

Illusion Museum – Located in Osaka Castle grounds, be part of illusions that tricks the eye.

Osaka Museum of Housing and Living – For those interested in experiencing Osaka history first hand. The family friendly Osaka Museum of Housing and Living is a worthwhile stop. Walk though a life size replica of Osaka during the Edo period (1603-1838). The museum is one of a kind with lights that dim when the sunsets.

Umeda Sky Building Kuchu-Teien Observatory – The nineteenth tallest building in Osaka. Take the world’s highest escalator to the top floor of the building for a 360 view of Osaka.
